Maintenance
Holland's Bloom Garden Maintenance takes into account the needs of the garden, and the needs of the garden owner. A garden is a dynamic entity, a 'whole' composed of ever-changing parts. The design - the form – combines with time, light and space to create the place we see. We do 'garden maintenance' to keep the garden as a pleasing whole, as well as take care of the details. Since plants change over time (they grow, get shaded out or overcrowded, or don't please as they used to) the garden changes also and needs some attention. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
Our work is designed to compliment the work the garden owner does. We can come as often or as infrequently as needed – varying from once a year to open things up in the spring, to spring and fall clean up, to several times during the season, or regularly scheduled intervals to keep a closer eye on things. We also come prepare garden areas for special events (outdoor weddings, gatherings, etc). Aspects of our maintenance work include the following practices:
